As many of you know, I have been contemplating a trip to Africa for, at the very least, a few years. It has been on my heart to volunteer and serve the children in Africa and I have finally committed to fulfilling this quest! For six weeks this summer I will use my teaching talents to work in an impoverished school in the east coast city of Arusha, Tanzania.

your blog really makes me want to do it. do they need chemists/tennis teachers? :) you are so good with the kids. i know you will be sad to go, but i think you will be so missed when you do.
